A VOX CHRISTMAS: Sacred Music for Organ & Choir is a concert project that we hope fills our listeners with comfort, peace, and joy. When programming tonight’s performance, we came across Norwegian composer Kim André Arnesen’s glorious Magnificat. This forty-five-minute setting of the Magnificat is some of the most beautiful music you will ever hear. Lush harmonies and stunning melodies fill the performance venue and, hopefully, the hearts of the listeners. Of course, there are new arrangements and settings of holiday carols, and yes, we close with our signature setting of Silent Night.
